Every Friday and Saturday evening, Pomelo transforms into something a little more special. Our Family Dinners are the heart of what we do: a chance to slow down, share beautiful food with the people you love, and try dishes we've spent a long time getting just right.
Dinner at Pomelo is a sharing experience. Each guest chooses three dishes from our modern Chinese menu, brought to the table for everyone to enjoy together. It's relaxed, generous, and genuinely unlike anywhere else in Edinburgh.
How Dinner Works
We host two seatings on Friday and Saturday evenings: 6:15pm and 8:15pm. Spaces are limited, so we recommend booking ahead.
Dinner is priced at £45+ per person for three sharing dishes. Our staff will guide you through the menu on the night and help you put together a selection you'll love.

Our Menu
Our dinner menu changes weekly or fortnightly, built around what's seasonal and what's inspiring us in the kitchen. Expect bold, inventive modern Chinese dishes: think dishes like Truffle Parmesan Tteokbokki alongside more classic flavours, finished with one of our house-made desserts.

Come as a Group
Pomelo is a wonderful spot for a birthday, anniversary, or just a long-overdue dinner with friends. Our small, cosy space on Sciennes Road seats a limited number of guests each evening, which means you'll always get attentive, personal service. Frequently Asked Questions
Do you take solo diners?
No, unfortunately, at this time we do not. As we are a small restaurant, we need as many bums on seats as possible to make sure we can run more dinners in the future! There will be opportunities to dine solo for Lunch and outside if the weather permits!
I am on the waitlist. Does that mean i have a table?
Being on the waitlist does not mean you have a table. You will be contacted via telephone or text if there is one. All you need to do after is enter card details to secure your booking!
I think I will be late for my Dinner. Who should i contact?
